From Pint-Sized to Presidential: Brighton Hall Salutes New President!
Brighton Hall is proud to announce that Rina Tochikura-Martin, a senior who has been part of our community since first grade, has been elected Student Council President for the 2025–26 school year!
Rina’s journey is truly inspiring — from her earliest days in Brighton Hall’s fledgling elementary school classroom to now leading a large student body, she is an example of dedication, curiosity and leadership.
Rina, who is fluent in both English and Japanese, maintains an incredibly rigorous schedule that includes volunteer work, attendance at her weekend school, and more. Despite all this, she continues to excel academically, scoring a perfect 5 on her AP calculus exam while eying a career in medicine.
“Rina has grown up here, and now she’s giving back as a leader and it warms my heart to see” says Principal Angie Peiris. “She’s a wonderful role model for our students and we are all so proud of her.”
Rina’s future will undoubtedly take her very far and Brighton Hall will forever be honored to have played a part in her many successes.
